The Community Cycling Center is Portland's nonprofit hub for all things cycling, serving America's most active and progressive bike city with outreach, education, and community programs. I was brought in to lead the development of their new online hub, store, and digital resource center as part of a complete brand refresh.

The Work

A full redesign and redevelopment of the site, built to showcase the CCC's extensive outreach and community partnership programs, maintain their bike resale inventory catalog, and stay current with news and events. The kind of project where the organization's energy and mission make the work feel worthwhile beyond the deliverable. #pedalstothepeople

Takeaway

By the end of this project the CCC community had genuinely taken us in as one of their own. The best expression of that: they opened up a secret cellar filled with thousands of bikes spanning every imaginable brand, style, and era, and told us to pick one. We spent an hour in there going through all of them. That's not something that happens on every project, and it's not something you forget… so cool!
