St. Jack is one of the Pacific Northwest's most celebrated restaurants -- a French bistro and bar in Portland with a legendary chef and a reputation that precedes it. They came to me needing their online presence to catch up with the quality of the experience happening inside.

The Work

Their guests were visiting the site almost exclusively on mobile, so I updated the brand identity, modernized the web platform, and distilled the content and functionality down to something fully navigable with one thumb from any device. The goal was an online experience worthy of the restaurant itself.

Takeaway

Part of the fee was negotiated in restaurant credit. For two years, my young son and I would walk over and eat at the bar a couple times a month. Best deal I ever made.
